Dillard Architect Group – PLLC (DAG) is based in San Antonio, Texas
 providing planning, architectural and construction related services on projects in  San Antonio and communities through-out the State of Texas.  Porter C. Dillard is the Principal Architect and Owner - Registered Architect in the State of Texas - Registration No. 8228.  Mr. Dillard is a sole practioner whose strengths lie in his ability of engaging the client as a part of the process in assessing the client’s needs and collectively rendering a solution.    

History

DAG was formed in October, 2007 following Porter Dillard’s retirement from CPS Energy, San Antonio, Texas where he served as Director of Facilities, Fleet and Security. He held that position for over 15 years with responsibility for managing and maintaining property and facility assets valued at over $250 million. 

Prior to CPS Energy, Porter Dillard practiced Architecture for 17 years as Vice President of a moderate size architectural firm in San Antonio, Texas.  His responsibilities included project design, production, master planning, programming, specification writing, estimating, marketing/client relations and firm liaison with Department of Defense (DOD) and governmental agencies. 

Mr. Dillard’s diverse experiences and background have afforded him a comprehensive understanding of the built environment from optimizing energy efficient planning and design opportunities to best practices for maintaining a facility.
